Credit Acheivement Criteria

Foundations / hardcore
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the foundations are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include crushed concrete, crushed bricks and Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA).

Ground slab
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the ground slab are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include concrete with crushed concrete aggregate and reused timber (joists, boards, etc.)

Ground insulation
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the ground insulation are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include cellulose, sheep wool insulation.

Upper floor(s) slabs
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the upper floor(s) slabs are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include concrete with crushed concrete aggregate and reused timber (joists, boards, etc.)

External walls - structure (with no insulation)
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the external walls structure are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include reused bricks and blocks, reused timber frame and blocks made of post consumer waste.

External walls - insulation
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the external walls insulation are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include cellulose, sheep wool insulation.

Internal walls / partitions
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the internal walls are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include reused concrete, blocks and timber.

Roof structure
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the roof structure are post consumer reused or recycled materials.

Typical examples include reused timber and concrete.

Roof cover
For example, one credit is achieved where 25% (by volume) of the materials used to make up the roof cover are post consumer reused or recycled materials.
